Voters Should Abandon Quick Fix of Computer Counts

Friends,

The computer scientists who worked so hard at this are Great American Heroes. They deserve our highest praise and appreciation. (see Link below)

This (Return- oriented programming) shows us that WE ALL need to adjust our thinking and see the TRUTH:

ALL COMPUTERS ARE FRAUDABLE and UNSAFE primary tools FOR ELECTIONS. ELECTRONIC SCANNERS as well as voting machines and counting machines.

If we are the people who are willing to spend much of our time on the issue of honest elections, to try to help retain democracy in America, WE HAVE TO SEE THE TRUTH and shine light on it so others can see, so they will make the changes that are needed to perfect election practices. Nothing less.

Here is PROOF that Computers can readily and secretly be told to destroy, change, undermine, contaminate, foul and mis-state votes and vote-counts. Many others have shown us that in numerous ways
before now. Why are some activists and politicians and election officials stubbornly clinging to what we don't want?

Holt's Bill is NOT about Holt! We and Holt are all supposed to have the same goal: election perfection.

Elections need cleaning up and protection, and Holt's Bill WILL NOT DO IT -- unless he AMENDS it to STOP ALL proprietary electronic vote recording, scanning and COUNTING machines, -- and allows only electronic machines that are open source coded and publicly designed, tested, controlled and programmed, as adjunct to hand counting -- for only one reason: to save the nation.

Scanners could help verify hand counts but they must be secondary. Everything must be easily verifiable. Easily. Not "quickly".

There is a need for legislation that would stop the need for quick answers.

Election jurisdictions need to be made more manageable in size, so elections can be handled without resorting to fraudulent machines or other gimmicks. Again-- the roll of non-partisan legislation.

I believe that any member of the California Election Protection Network or of any group that says it is working for "election Integrity", has a DUTY to help get ALL proprietary computers out of America's elections NOW; and to seek public limitation and control and complete transparency of any computers used as adjuncts in any aspect of elections, and to seek legislation for All necessary tasks including audits and recounts -- to help assure TRUTHFUL ELECTIONS. To accept nothing less.

I don't doubt that each of us is troubled by the takeover of elections by fraudulent, anti-American GOP vendors; troubled that they received federal money for corruptible computers that completely control America's elections in secret, and count all of America's votes. Troubled that the Democratic Party and all other parties have refused to make ending the fraud a priority. These are high crimes against the nation and should be prosecuted, not ignored.

But first, remove the phony computers. We need to use paper ballots and old-fashioned counting. And recounting some. Any city, any county, any state can do that. Honest citizens have always been willing to do that. Of course, some were dishonest in some locales. But good safeguards can help minimize that.

If some say that is out of date; that computers are the answer -- tell them that the proof is, that they are not; that "lazy and quick" leads to doubtful results every time. We simply let ourselves and the country and candidates and the hard-working Grassroots, down every time. What for?

Let's focus on the ideal, not ineffective compromise. For the country.
