Why Republicans Want Us Poorer

I figured out exactly why the Republican Party doesn’t care if a majority of America becomes poor.  I figured out why sometimes it feels like they even want us to be poor with the way they cheerlead for free trade and less regulation.  It turns out they are truly looking out for our best interests.

See the thing is if we are poorer then we can’t eat.  Well that is good because America is so overweight we could use a diet, thus if we all starved a little well maybe we would rid our country of obesity.  See, they actually do care a lot about your health!

Also if we are poorer we won’t be able to afford gasoline.  Well this is great for the environment.  We will all reduce our carbon footprint as we are able to consume less and less energy helping to slow down global warming.  When you look at it this way they are more concerned about the environment than the Democrats!  I mean the Democrats only want to introduce to the world alternatives to energy, the Republican strategy will reduce the amount of energy we consume whether we like it or not.

See all us progressives and Democrats have been looking at this in the wrong way, by making us poorer the Republicans actually are trying to help us.  I wonder why they don’t just go out and tell us this is why they are making us poorer, I mean do they really have to lie?
