The segment, cheaply entitled "The sad demise of Barbara Walters" once again betrayed the fact that on the subject of 9/11 the establishment media, and the baseless debunkers, will not and cannot challenge the facts and choose every time to resort to child like name calling and character assassination.
Although labeling O'Donnell's comments as "unhinged ravings", Scarborough and his right hand men do not debate or counter what she is actually saying but instead choose to attack and attempt to end the career of an elderly woman who was reporting meaningful and insightful news items while they were still in college.
These hacks go after Rosie and Barbara Walters, really saying horrible things about Walters, clearly trying to do all they can to get Rosie fired. Make that silenced.
The fact is, Rosie has brought 600,000 new viewers to the VIEW.
I am embarassed because I was beginning to think that Scarborough's brain was begin to emerge from the mounds of right wing bullshit it has been marinated in for years. The only reason I watch Scarborough is he follows Keith Olbermann.
Scarborough has been showing some signs of waking up. I have to wonder, is this conversation about Rosie a desperate attempt to draw viewers by being controversial? I don't think so. I think he's part of the right wing ech chamber program doing his duty, just like Drudge.
This is a warm up. The real action will be coming as the presidential primaries heat up. In the last cycle the attacks focused on Howard Dean. Expect nastier than ever attacks on whoever is a frontrunner who the right wing thinks has a better chance of winning.

Joe Scarborough went after Rosie O'Donnell just as viciously because she spoke the widely repeated questions of the 9/11 Truth movement, asking how anyone could explain the collapse of the third WTC tower, the one that was not hit by a hijacked jet.
Tonight, five days after I started this article, Joe Scarborough is working Rosie again, doing all he can to bash her and anyone who doesn't say what a bad girl she is. This time he solicits the help of Bob Cohn, Steve Adubato and RIchard Wolf.
We know Adubato is going to parrot the "Bad Rosie" lines. Bob COhn, does another parrot job. It is really almost embarassing watching these two men, who think, because they are on MSNBC that they actually have intelligence. No. They are bobble heads. The words that leave their mouths are... limp... vapid, dumb. I give Richard Wolf a lot of credit for holding his own, refusing to join Scarborough's stupid parrot squad. Joe, Joe, you were making progress, facing reality. Forget about Rosie and talk about what's actually happening in this country, not the silly, made up conflicts you are creating or magnifying. You've shown you can be better than that. Or maybe you're just putting on an act for your right wing dittohead base.
