Now, articles are posted here, on Commondreams and elsewhere on our supposed impeachment hero John Conyers' dissing of Cindy Sheehan, Ray McCovern and others who came to encourage impeachment, and his directing the arrest of some 40 fellow citizens for the audacity of wanting to express their political opinions in the People's House (no longer that, of course). Conyers gave the usual lame-ass reasons: not enough votes, FOX 'o' phobia, not enough time to do anything else. Also quoted is Pelosi's staff's wimpy excuse: she wants to end the war, not impeach, as if the latter would not directly lead to the former.
Anyway, go back and read my (not explicitly) Marxist analysis on "The REAL Reason Bush And Cheney Will Not Face Impeachment." I think it was posted Sunday the 22nd, but maybe Monday the 23rd. It ain't gonna happen short of something truly dramatic occurring very soon (and with what we have seen lately, I'm not even sure what that COULD be).
