Dear BP and Tony Hayward
Stop wasting time. Stop playing games. Whoever heard of poring cement into a fire hydrant to get it to shut down? If you want to pour cement, first shut off the pressure of the oil and gas, then you pour the cement, not the other way round.
Drill 4 vertical relief wells around the existing Gulf of Mexico blowout well to reduce the pressure. Then you can seal this well, once the pressure drops.
This is not intelligent. You are not buying time, only wasting it. You could have your 4 vertical relief wells down within a month. They can also supply oil to help you pay for this environmental mess. You sure are going to need it. Do not drill directional wells into this existing well.
Has BP decided to go into competition with Hollywood? Your top kill videos are not entertaining. Fix the problem. Stop tinkering.
