Quite frankly, after reading that article, all I wanted to do was go to my bathroom and throw up. This action was done in my name by GWB and Dick (no pulse) Cheney.
I often wonder if our present economic woes can be attributed to this war of lies and my inner voice says yes. We believed or should I say the "Tom foolery' of Americans believed this was the best course our country should take in order to fight terrorism. What schmucks they were and still are.
As the Deficit Commission came out to suggest that cuts to Social Security and Medicare be slashed in order to save us: Did they know of the cost of the Iraq War and the war in Afghanistan?
While this commission recommended cuts to our defense department, did they recommend a shut down to these wars on terror? Nope! Besides our military presence in both Iraq and Afghanistan, we have a foot print all over the globe. In my opinion, shut them all down in order to save some bucks!
As America is seeping deeper and deeper into debt which is the bread basket of the teahadist/GOPer movement, do they dare address these wars? No, they do not. This past mid-term election should have been directly tied to these wars on terror since we have sunk so much money into them at the expense of all of us.
