Think she's going to seek the truthfulness in Kavanaugh's testimony? If you do, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you!
And how long after Thursday's testimony are Republican Senator's planning to absorb, consider and deliberate on the testimony they hear in this crucial face-off. Less than 24 hours. Senator Chuck Grassley has indicated he will call for a confirmation vote on Friday morning no matter what arises during the hearings. He seems pretty confident, think he's already made up his mind?
Any chance there's prejudgment?
This is no longer simply a matter of determining who is to be believed. It's become a condemnation of how politicized judicial hearings for the highest court in the land have become. Most notably, the length Republican Senate Judicial Committee members will go to suppress any honest investigation... no matter where it leads!
One final note on all this Republican wrangling and outright "F" rated behavior.
President Trump is holding a press conference 5pm the night before the hearing. You can bet he'll have a lot of unfiltered words to utter.
He has also choreographed a much-awaited meeting with Deputy US Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Thursday the same day as the hearings? Think it's a coincidence? About as much as downing ten beers in an hour, getting behind the wheel of a car and smashing into a telephone pole.
Divert the public from paying attention to the testimony of Dr. Blasey Ford. Draw their attention away from the looks on Republican Senator's faces as their "designated attack dog" allegedly seeks the truth in the judicial hearings.
There's lots more "coincidences" and clearly obstruction and disinformation. But enough said, you be the judge.
Allow me to finish by presenting Mad Mother Marvel's short take on the proceedings. As I mentioned in the last article in this series, I am merely the chronicler of her meandering and iambic pentameter-less but very pithy verse.
Mad Mother Marvel is really, really mad,
Believes our nation should be very, very sad
Republican Senators perverting all for which we stand,
Just to get a judge whose laws will influence the land
Decisions not for a month, a year or maybe even ten,
But one's that'll last a long time, perhaps outlast Big Ben
