Thursday September 27^this shaping up to be one of the most disgraceful, distasteful, disingenuous, detrimental and deleterious moments in the history of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Its impact will shed doubt on the integrity of the Supreme Court for generations to come.

Think it will be a fair hearing? No FBI inquiry, no presentation of any witnesses. Only the testimony of self-proclaimed high school & college "virgin" Brett Kavanaugh and his sexual assault accuser Dr.Susan Blasey Ford who has requested and been denied an FBI investigation!

Will there be any discussion of the reasons women often don't report sexual assault for decades? Would you expect there to be in a country where approximately 400,000 rape kits have gone untested!

Or in a nation where President Trump attacks Kavanaugh's accuser by name. And, Speaker of the House McConnell stated on the Senate floor that Democrats have thrown "all the mud they could manufacture" at Kavanaugh..."

Committee member Senator Hatch has declared "...there's no question in my mind she was coached by special interest groups," adding: "Her story's too contrived. It's so slick it doesn't compute..."

The all-male Republican dominated committee members afraid to confront Dr. Blasey Ford have hired "Rachel Mitchell, who is on leave from her role as deputy county attorney in the Maricopa County Attorney's Office" she is also the chief of the special victims unit..."

Senate Democrats will ask their own questions. They get 5 minutes each with no follow-up. Fifty minutes apiece for Kavanaugh and Blasey Ford. No ability to build on answers that will likely generate further queries. No opportunity for Democrats to synthesize information then ask for follow-up clarification.

Sounds like the Republican's specially selected attorney gets 55 minutes of questioning (broken up in 5 minute units) allowing her to strategize, build on the answers and do what attorneys do best... make their client's look good.

Is Kavanaugh her client? No, but she is the Senate Republican's attorney and they have clearly tasked her not to find facts but to raise questions about Blakely Ford's veracity?
