We should lay off Hillary--hugging her rather than picking on her, said Moore. She disliked being a candidate and often had questions written out in advance so she could prepare answers, not much of a thinker on her feet. Audience questioners felt like props to her act. Trump has such thin skin that she could have easily discombobulated him during the debates, make him lose it time and again. Moore said he suggested a satire league to reach all the people in these final weeks and Bill Maher and colleagues agreed to it, but the Democrats said back off, it was too risky. (The film focuses on the real popular vote winner, Bernie Sanders, but view that poignant scene in the film. We all knew it was true.)
By the way, confessed Moore, his education consists of nothing beyond a high school degree, but where are all the journalists? Trump has destroyed the free press!

Here's the truth and how we dug our own grave: we should have been out there in droves after Inauguration Day 2009 the way we were in 2013. Obama was sluggish and required pushing to redeem all of the promises he made to progressives. We blew it from 2008 to 2010. We just sat back and relaxed, letting Barry do it. Democracy was still a noun and needed to be a verb. We should have been surrounding Congress and Crooked Mitch MicConnell and his pal Paul, telling the GOP to beat it.
Moore said he admires the GOP because it has the courage of its convictions and isn't blown over by facts that argue against their decisions and actions. He asked Marilyn Manson if he'd meet up with the Columbine kids. Mansion said yes and that without saying a word he'd listen to them. Please listen to them, said Moore. Eight million Obama voters voted for Trump. All Hillary had to say was "Free college!" without worrying about financing it. We all buy things without such worries. Get the kids to vote!
