And as far as getting the warmongers off his back, Trump's option was to mobilize the American people against the warmongers, which he had been doing (quite effectively, actually) and seemed intent on doing until an obvious false flag event gave him a public excuse for doing a 180.
For these reasons, I still think that the actual reason for Trump's 180 cave in to the warmongers is extreme pressure from the Billionaire class, likely implemented with by the CIA, which is their organization that administers extreme pressure.
