The dynamics presented on the program were that Doro had, after examining the material given to her, decided to write the book and that for such writing, she requested material from the different presidents or dictators of the world during Poppy's presidential reign and, that this had occasioned her to turn out a book, "full of wonderful pictures" according to Larry King-and a book which, on reading a brief excerpt offered in the internet, sheds absolutely no new light or insight as to who George Herbert Walker Bush, Doro's Father and President, is.
While Poppy says he had nothing to do with the writing of the book, other than having, "lived the life," stating that it is not, "in the Bush gentility," to talk about themselves; preferring to let history to take care of what he screwed up and what he got right and not be out there trying to shape it, not trying to say, hey, this is what I did ... THAT IS, EXACTLY, WHAT POPPY AND DORO ARE DOING.
