2. Money in politics military-industrial complex

3. Endless War

Climate change is the MOST important issue everyone and everything is already or will be feeling its impact. And we could have been dealing with this for decades! We need to address it right away if we want our children's future to be healthy and safe.

Money in politics is the result of the military-industrial complex taking over our government. We need strong laws to prevent them from their undue influence. And jail time for their leaders.

Endless war wastes people and resources. We are a death culture. I think it's because of patriarchy's fear of death. Our religions have created this fear of retribution after death. And so we've ended up creating a death culture killing people, Nature, the planet. How do we remove the threat of guns? What about making it illegal to manufacture bullets for assault rifles? What about controlling guns through the licensing of bullets?

When we cut the defense budge in half (and we'll still spend more than all the other countries on defense), we can put so much more of our resources into promoting life rather than death. We can fix our infrastructure and build a Green economy. And we can stop invading other countries. Perhaps we could even lead by example, which America used to pride itself on.

We really are in need of a new revolution to make America the country we were all brought up to believe in. That's the painful part that America has fallen far short of its ideals. We are choking on the hypocrisy. Trump is the result of that fall, not the cause. We're called to be patriots and stand up for our principles. But if words like 'revolution' and 'the left' are divisive, we need to frame things differently. Not by electing a moderate, but by making these ideas exciting for Americans. And the world.

We need a revolution, a revolution in consciousness we have to stop being consumers and start being citizens. It's been happening since Trump took office and even before with the Occupy movement. People are stepping up to contribute their strength, voices and ideals to making the changes our society needs to make.

We can create a paradise here on Earth if we have the will.

We just don't need to define ourselves are radicals, socialists, conservative, LGBTQ, the left, the right. We need to define ourselves are grown-up human beings.

Climate crisis is now the catalyst. We need to evolve and we need to bring everyone along with us.

So what can our rallying cry be?

Help for people, not handouts for corporations.

America. The best is yet to come!
