Our curiosity has always gotten the best of us. Maybe that's why Dally kept using his hands, to test the X-ray tubes, he was helping Edison develop. He had to soak his hands in pales of water, to be able to stand it. According to Edison, Dally always insisted on testing the strongest X-ray tubes. Dally looked older, than his years. Dallys hand that he routinely rested under the X-rays, was filled with tumors, that spread in Dally's body and, killed him. Thomas Edison said, he never wanted to hear about xrays or radionuclides again, after Dally's death.
