5. Optional: If you like your coffee extra creamy, rich and frothy, place 1-2 teaspoons of coconut oil in your blender. Also, according to stuff I read on the internet, coconut oil is supposed to be good for the brain and memory. Maybe if I used more I could remember where I read that. Anyway, if you choose to do this step, you'll also have to wash the blender. You've already dirtied the coffeemaker, the saucepan, measuring spoons and the coffee cup, so at this rate you might never get out of the kitchen. But trust me, it's worth it for this cup of coffee.
6. Pour the hot coffee into the blender and whisk for about 15-30 seconds.
7. Pour your blended coffee into the cup with the drop of essential oil in it, stir and enjoy.
OK, the sink is full of dirty dishes now, but it was worth it.
And what's more, I made the coffee, savored it, wrote this article, and I'm still in my pajamas.
I don't do this every day, I only drink coffee once or twice a week, so I feel like I can splurge. And this coffee concoction is a perfect balance--devilishly rich and divinely smooth--it's luxurious, decadent and perfectly satisfying.
