The point of this story is not just about how to fix our energy, economic, and environmental problems, it’s about lies - but more importantly, truth. There are answers to all of our problems buried in old files all over Capitol Hill and in the minds and hearts of the American people. Barack Obama was elected with a mandate to fix this nation and lead the world out of the corrupt state of disrepair it’s in now. And he doesn’t owe anyone on Wall Street or in Texas for having given him this opportunity. His administration is accountable only to average Americans who gave him donations from straight out of their pockets, people of all races and national backgrounds, creeds of religion, and political affiliations. So he’s free to cut directly to solutions that will work for average people over our elitist economic leaders who have no better idea of how to make money from energy other than to worsen air quality while making us spend our money and time always filling up our vehicles with fuel that doesn’t work the way it should.

Bisphenol A – safe plastic for babies to drink

Barack Obama is not beholding to government in a way that requires acts of congress to make things work. We just need to be better informed about things we’ve traditionally been lied to about by our collective leaders from both parties. If we know the truth about the choices we have in what will make this nation work, we can force change as consumers. It’s like with bisphenol A (BPA) that’s added to plastic. Study after study have come out showing how dangerous it is to be used in food containers and baby bottles. But the FDA keeps saying it’s safe. So who do we believe as consumers.

A recent report about how corrupt the FDA has become on this issue has lead them to say they need to look at the issue closer. But there’s still no word on whether it’s safe or not. That’s actually considered progress by today’s standards. President Barack Obama doesn’t have to play that way. He can review the evidence himself with his staff along with anyone he needs advice from practically anywhere in the world. Then he can tell us himself if he thinks BPA is safe for our children to drink or not. If he chose the latter, it would be off the shelves that same day.

Our government is corrupt. If it can be moved away from misinforming us in a direction we trust is reliable, then we have to solve our problems ourselves. Wall Streeters are complaining that Obama will regulate them more while they don’t want to be told what to do. But if they hadn’t made such a mess in the first place, we’d be talking about other issues. We as Americans certainly don’t want Wall Street to waste our time and resources having to be watched over with every move they make. But what other choice is there? Who else is strong enough to stand up to them in order to bring them back to the real world except the US Government as lead by a Democrat? - and they’re darn lucky it’s Obama because he is such a fair minded and intelligent man.

Hope that leads towards a new kind of future

I believe our forefathers envisioned our government to be open and honest while serving the average American first, not the already wealthy and powerful, when they talked about a government by and for the people. Our government has however become a tool of Wall Street and special interest groups so nothing works anymore, not even for the crooks who have ruined this country even for themselves.

Obama can change all this. I hope he has what it takes to keep things simple so he doesn’t get sucked into the political games played with mankind’s future in Washington and around the world. Even the people who are screwing up everything actually want to be lead. They know they can’t set an example for how to lead into the future. They also won’t willingly stop what they’re doing unless they are forced to even though they want to stop; they must because they know they’re ruining their own lives too with how they run the world’s economy.
