Escaping the Morgue

And I plotted and schemed and sacrificed

And 55 years later that seed sprang forth and began to live

I now live in the country and have space to share

Nature was rarely to be seen in my childhood,

. 

Finally having it I must share it 

I keep a needy broken alcoholic child/person 

I keep him here in the heart of Nature 

Where I as a child so wanted to be all my life,

.

So that he will not be in prison

For the crime of never being able to grow up

I was barely able to grow up myself
