As long as the United States Senate allows high-level military officers to retire directly into positions of extreme influence in military/industrial mega-companies, we will continue to see our precious youth killed and dismembered in ongoing and future wars of choice.
These people cannot and will not oppose our involvement in insane weaponry. It's not in their job description. Their huge incomes depend on constantly feeding the grist mill of uncontrolled military spending.
