Now, regardless of who may have made the earliest incest-themed porn videos on the internet and in DVDs, the wonderful camera-ready beautiful body of the now-retired pornstar Mandy Flores made many mom-son porn videos that were extremely popular on the internet for our viewing pleasure as we engage our fantasy thinking as we watched her perform seductively with her gloriously beautiful body with her big (39") boobs and her eye-catching big nipples and her clean-shaven p*ssy in the fantasy skits of her mom-son porn videos on the internet.
In any event, I have discussed J. R. R. Tolkien's popular fantasy novels in two recent OEN articles: (1) "About J. R. R. Tolkien's Fantasy Novel, The Lord of the Rings" (dated February 15, 2025); and (2) "Thomas J. Farrell's Encore About J. R. R. Tolkien's Fantasy Novel, The Lord of the Rings" (dated February 22, 2025).
Now, in my 12,700-word OEN article "Philip Shenon on the Last Seven Popes," even though I construct a fourfold account of the history of the Roman Catholic Church in our Western cultural history, I do not discuss the history of the Church's moral teachings regarding the sex-related issues that Philip Shenon dwells on in his bleak new 2025 book Jesus Wept - apart from my single passing reference to the American medievalist Dyan Elliott's book The Corrupters of Boys: Sodomy, Scandal, and the Medieval Clergy (2020).
Like many others, I also have my own strong criticisms of the Roman Catholic Church's moral teachings involving individual personal sexuality. However, I have no quarrel with Catholic social teaching.
For an informed discussion of Catholic social teaching, see the English lay theologian Anna Rowlands' book Towards a Politics of Communion: Catholic Social Teaching in Dark Times (2021).
For a commendable positive exploration of Catholic social teaching, see the American economist Anthony M. Annett's aptly titled book Cathonomics: How Catholic Tradition Can Create a More Just Economy (2022).
Catholic social teaching includes Pope Francis' widely read 2015 eco-encyclical Laudato Si' (which is available in English and other languages at the Vatican's website).
Now, my undying infatuation with Father Ong and his work began in the fall semester of 1964 when I took my first course from him at Saint louis University - more than 60 years ago now. In 2000, I published my award-winning book Walter Ong's Contributions to Cultural Studies: The Phenomenology of the Word and I-Thou Communication. In it, I surveyed Ong's life and eleven of his books and selected articles. My book received the Marshall McLuhan Award for Outstanding Book in the Field of Media Ecology, conferred by the Media Ecology Association in June 2001.
For a briefly annotated bibliography of Ong's 400 or so distinct publications (not counting translations or reprintings as distinct publications), see Thomas M. Walsh's "Walter J. Ong, S.J.: A Bibliography 1929-2006" (2011).
Now, after I submitted my 12,700-word OEN article "Philip Shenon on the Last Seven Popes," I subsequently read the lengthy transcript at The New York Times (dated February 25, 2025) of Ezra Klein's interview with the Cuban-born former CIA analyst Martin Gurri (born in Cuba on April 17, 1949) titled "A Theory of Media That Explains 15 Years of Politics."
Ezra Klein (born on May 4, 1984) and Martin Gurri discussed Gurri's revised and expanded 2018 second edition of his 448-page book titled The Revolt of the Public and the Crisis of Authority in the New Millennium (1st ed., 2014). When I printed out the NYT transcript of their discussion, it ran to 28 pages in length.
Then, on March 1, 2025, I sent Ezra Klein an email message about the American Jesuit Walter J. Ong's media ecology theory of our Western cultural history - and about the text of my 12,700-word OEN article "Philip Shenon on the Last Seven Popes" in the attachment with my email message.
In my March 1, 2025, email message to Ezra Klein about his interview with Martin Gurri, I explained that my attached 12,700-word OEN article highlighted the American investigative reporter Philip Shenon's bleak new 2025 book titled Jesus Wept: Seven Popes and the Battle for the Soul of the Catholic Church.
Now, I do not expect that what Philip Shenon styles "the Battle for the Soul of the Catholic Church" to be resolved in the near future. Apart from "the Battle for the Soul of the Catholic Church" that Philip Shenon skillfully accentuates, there is also the still big battle that we in Western culture today still need to wage against our Western anti-body heritage. In my judgment, I see most heterosexual porn on the internet and in DVDs as engaged in waging this crucial battle today. For this reason, I repeatedly refer to the exhibitionistic Mandy Flores as a devout Christian who makes charming porn videos that are available on the internet for our viewing pleasure - and I also at times refer to her moral reasoning in certain mom-son porn videos. It is precisely because Mandy Flores is a devout Christian that I pay careful attention to the moral reasoning that she expresses in certain mom-son porn videos on the internet.
In addition, I express my own moral reasoning at a certain juncture in the present OEN article for whatever it may be worth to you.
Granted, our tragic Western anti-body heritage is pervasive and enormous. Consequently, it is a tall order, to say the least, for us to battle to counter and current our tragic Western anti-body heritage. Nevertheless, battle against this tragic Western heritage, we must! Because this Western anti-body heritage is so pervasive and widespread, I have spread my wings, figuratively speaking, in the present wide-ranging OEN article.
