In my own life, my mid-life crisis began in late February 1974, when I had a mental breakdown and was hospitalized in St. Louis for about a week to ten days. Thus, my dramatic mid-life marked the beginning of the second half of my life - and the second half of my life has not yet come to an end.

Nevertheless, I do think that all devout Christian girls and women of all ages should figure out for themselves the ways in which they can battle the tragic anti-body heritage that is a part of Christianity and of our Western culture generally.
Now, above, I have used the figurative language of "locked into" certain "shadow" forms of the archetypes of maturity in the human psyche. Below, we will encounter the far more technical terminology of "endogamous kinship libido" to characterize how libido in our psyches is married within our psyches to images of our mother and our father. When we experience the liberation of endogamous kinship libido in our psyches, we thereby experience the freeing up of libido in our psyches from being "married within" our psyches to images of our mother (or mother-figure) or father (or father-figure).
When we experience the liberation of endogamous kinship libido in our psyches, we are thereby freed up from being locked into "shadow" forms of the four feminine archetypes of maturity in our psyches and then of the four masculine archetypes of maturity in our psyches. This freeing up in our psyches opens up our access to the optimal and positive forms of the four feminine archetypes of maturity in our psyches and then the opening up to accessing the optimal and positive forms of the four masculine archetypes of maturity in our psyches.
Now, as a result of the tragic anti-body Christian heritage in our Western cultural history, many devout Christian girls and women today are mainlining the Impotent Lover "shadow" form of the feminine Lover archetype of maturity in their psyches - and so are many devout Christian boys and men. Yes, devout Christians today who are mainlining the Impotent Lover "shadow" form of the feminine Lover archetype of maturity in their psyches. Yes, they may need to switch temporarily from mainlining the Impotent Lover "shadow" form of the feminine Lover archetype of maturity in their psyches to the Addicted Lover "shadow" form of the feminine Lover archetype in their psyches as they work their way toward learning how to access the optimal and positive form of the feminine Lover archetype in their psyche.

She may need to switch temporarily from mainlining the Addicted Lover "shadow" form of the feminine Lover archetype in her psyche to mainlining the Impotent Lover "shadow" form of the feminine Lover archetype in her psyche as she works her way toward learning how to access the optimal and positive form of the feminine Lover archetype in her psyche.
