Poem: Obama Was Right (Obama Was Not Left)

and fickle touch screens (wink), citizens

given the finger by barcode

and Biden blithely calls it all a man date

this anyone-but-Trump charge he barely survived, if he did

on the other hand, Ed Snowden's having a baby

(hooray) in Russia, apologizing for the need to do so,

another Dostoyevsky kid on the way

looking up through the floorboards of our culture, pacing

I might be an expat for life

the way things are going

but not yet (nyet)

pardon my reluctant assimilatese
