Rob Kall: And of
course we know now that whistle blowers in the U.S. are being punished and
prosecuted at a higher rate than ever before in history. So in a sense whistle
blowers are one of the ways to fight against psychopaths.
Clive Boddy: Yes
exactly. So if whistle blowing is increasing, that must mean, logically, the
problem is increasing.
Rob Kall: No it's
not increasing, what's happening is it's being punished, so it's not increasing,
while it should be
Clive Boddy: Oh,
no.
Rob Kall: Now the
next chapter you have is "Corporate Psychopaths and Organizational
Type", what's that about?
Clive Boddy: Well
that's just the idea that they are more attracted to some organizations than
they are to others. So if the aim is to
get money and power and prestige and control over other people, then some
organizations would appear, logically, to be more attractive. So corporate banking
holds more of the promise for wealth, than nursing does, or caring for the
elderly does. So I think they'll gravitate towards the positions and the types
of companies that give them the benefits that they seek out of life.
Rob Kall: That
may give them the opportunities to hide, and evade detection.
Clive Boddy: Well
I think they can evade detection fairly well wherever they are.
