As stated in my bio, I am (as Bernie would say), a HUGE fan of creative activism. It is a very powerful method of communication that everyone understands.
I've been a Bernie fan for about ten years now but yesterday I came across something I could not believe I hadn't seen before. It's so wonderful I just had to share it with all you fabulous creative activists here.
In 1987 Bernie Sanders recorded an album called "We Shall Overcome".
I absolutely love it and I am working hard to find out why it has not been promoted by the campaign.
I've included the "official video" below and the rest of the Album is available for purchase at Amazon. Lets try to make it viral.
The message, though written in 1987, is still very relevant today.
