It was a number of years ago when I first read about Dr. Burzynski's work and his success with treating brain tumors. I also read about his demonization and quackery, which, surprise, surprise, I did not buy into. He had successful results 'nuff said. But our medical community just 'sells' chemo.
And who had the most to lose if Burzinsky's treatment really worked? Why, Big Pharma, of course.
And, who else did Big Pharma hate? Max Gerson.
I took care of my mother until she died of ovarian cancer. Two years later, I was taking care of my lifelong best friend until she died of the same. Both had gone through the prescribed treatment of chemotherapy: poisoning, radiation, hair loss, vomiting and then death. So as I stayed at my best friend's bedside, I also was on-line. And I found the web page for the Gerson Therapy.
Max Gerson, a doctor, suffered from debilitating migraine headaches that traditional medicine could not ease. He set out to cure himself of his condition by making drastic changes to his diet. He replaced his typical German diet of heavily salted, processed fatty foods and meat and replaced them with raw and cooked, salted, organic fruits and vegetables. Within a matter of weeks, the migraines disappeared.
The long and short of this is, he cured Albert Schweitzer's skin tuberculosis as well with his diet...
His all-organic diet, juicing a multiple times per day, and taking supplements has cured cancer. His diet supports the body so well that it can 'heal' itself. What a concept.
After burying my best friend and my mother, I decided to go to the Gerson clinic in Southern California just to experience the 'diet'. Turned out, there were two of us there for the week, both healthy nurses. We never felt better. (I forgot to mention the coffee enemas, which serve to dilate the vessels and allow the liver to dump its collected toxins...I know, gross.)
I'm just sharing this as another alternative. Other than my time in China, I eat largely, 95% organic stuff. I'm doing that just prophylactically as our cut-remove-poison treatment just doesn't do it for me. And even if I get a cancer diagnosis, I will not do chemo. Just my preference...
Oh. There are no Gerson Clinics in the US, as, oh surprise, they're not allowed! (They are allowed, however, in Canada, Mexico and Japan.) I think Big Pharm is behind that.... You can google Gerson Therapy if you're interested in more info.
