Some recently, here, have found a way to compare the horror of Putin's murders in Ukraine with the United States murders (about one million souls) in Iraq and find for themselves a peculiar preferential distinction. This is like choosing between two people who kill children--really?
The greater import is not what is different between Ukraine and Iraq, between Putin and Bush and Cheney, rather, what they have in common that we must understand in order to address these crimes. The various reasons for moving us to war are irrelevant when they are shown to be lies to justify gratuitous mass murder.
The only issue of importance regarding these mass murder events is what and if we can prevent them, if we can prevent what are clearly freaks of humanity like Putin and Bush and Dick Cheney from initiating these killing sprees. What is of most interest, here, is that these are always preceded by the fear mongering lies intended to frighten us, the unwashed masses, into agreeing with their murderous plan before they release the dogs of war. This dynamic may well be wherein lies the power of the mostly ignored many. Since these warmongers 'always promote lies of justification supporting what they want to do, who they want to kill, perhaps they can not move ahead with their plans if we tell them we do not believe your lies, we are not afraid of fill in the blank, and you do not have my permission to kill anyone on my behalf.
Rehashing some of the lies promoting justifying mass murder is a bit tedious but instructive. In Vietnam where we murdered three million innocent (yes, that many) we were told it was necessary because they were communist, dominoes would fall and to be very afraid of this. Vietnam is still Communist, and no dominoes have fallen. Three million killed, holocaustic numbers. This lie was augmented with the Gulf of Tonkin Incident lie told us by our(?) military and political leaders. The incident never occurred.
Putin's nonsense about there being fascist in Ukraine justifying the murder of untold thousands of civilians is insanity, Further transparent insanity was the Weapons of Mass Destruction lie prompting the killing of nearly one million Iraqi citizens . Our psychopaths do not mess around. And, of course, Britain, France China and Russia and others have weapons of Mass destruction. Still with one sane exception (Barbara Lee) all of our US politicians fell in line with this criminal act, We must do better
We need to show we have the intellectual capacity, the decency, the spiritual evolvement and strength to withstand the fear mongering and lies. The time has come to just say no to killing innocents This is not a political bias issue. Leadership in both parties commit these crimes If you can, try to find evidence that Al Queda existed ;prior' to 9/11. If not, this made up name/concept could not have done 9/11. And, look into what Benghazi was about. The primary US activity in Benghazi overseen by Hillary Clinton, was 39 CIA operatives buying guns from heavily armed Benghazi citizens and running them into Iraq where their counter parts there had assembled a 20,000 strong militia which Obama was soon to announce to us was something called ISIS, Obama dutifully did this, said this thing, ISIS, was more dangerous than Al Queda and to be very afraid.. He further explained that he did not know how this large and dangerous group could possibly have formed under the eyes of our sixteen military intel agencies and blah, blah, blah.
So, friends, the burden and responsibility is on our collective shoulders. And it will take courage. Five journalists who questioned the official storyline the perpetrators fed us explaining 9/11 were murdered with weaponized anthrax from the US military biological warfare lab and 17 others were injured--what does it feel like to be injured by anthrax? The same happened to two US senators and all further questions were quashed.-- really dangerous . Still, we can do this if we determine to step up to the task and not let a single innocent be killed on our behalf
