My indelible impressions
are that national recessions
cause endless processions
of people and professions
begging for concessions.
But, political obsessions
block learning of lessons.
We’re left with regressions
to money transgressions,
guilty confessions,
outraged expressions,
foreclosed possessions,
growing aggressions,
presidential successions,
occasional repressions,
and maybe depressions.
So, . . . some stop-and-think sessions?
