Suppose our Far West was like the Middle East. Suppose the episode at Virginia Tech was a regular daily event. What would it be like to live where 9/11 was 24/7?
The disasters like Katrina or even man made ones like the World Trade Center or Virginia Tech, bad though they were, were brief and temporary.
What if were large scale and went on for months?
