The Media Myth of 'Automatic Qualification' of McCain for President A fundamental potential national political disaster lurks in the background waiting to happen in the 2008 American Presidential elections. This is basically the general notion or assumption - in deed, the mythology - that centers around the purported automatic fitness and "qualification" of just John McCain to be President,on the assumption that he's been "fully vetted" and has "passed."
