How the Pennsylvania recount is going so far in Philly (not good) It's a big hurdle to get a look at the paper ballots in PA. It's almost impossible. Despite the almost insurmountable obstacles, at least there is some avenue to get a recount in PA. In NY, there is no avenue to get a statewide hand-count of the paper ballots. We also need to find at least three voters in each election district willing to submit an affidavit language to send to those willing to do so.

HDNet's Dan Rather Reports on E-Voting Tuesday, Oct 26th 8 PM With the endless hours the network and cable news mainstreamers like Chris Matthews have found to devote to the horse-race and politicking of these elections, you'd think they might be able to find more than just 19 seconds to cover the issue that can be,and so often has been, the deciding factor in so many recent elections. you'd be wrong.19 seconds is all Rather got on this weekend's Chris Matthews Show to discuss the topic.

N.Y. sets timetable on ballot machines Counties would be expected to make their initial selections of machines by Feb. 8, three days after the presidential primaries and several weeks before testing was finished.
