My career in journalism began as a stringer at the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner before making my way east to write at the Washington Star. I toiled for more than a decade as a columnist for Gannett, the world's largest newspaper chain.
As executive-producer and host of "Dusty Nathan's Winner's Circle," heard on a Philadelphia 50,000-watt radio station, and a CBS affiliate, I covered the worlds of sports and entertainment. I was proud to have several exclusives - most notably, one of Johnny Cash's last appearances, and also world-famous jockey Eddie Arcaro. Eagles head coach Ray Rhodes often played co-host on the show.
My words have appeared in Rolling Stone, Time Magazine, and New York's Village Voice, as well.
Many of my short stories and poems are published in anthologies. Recently, some have been selected and published internationally in university literary journals.

America is in the deepest water she's ever been in since our Civil War, not just the Great Depression. The reason being the world has lost faith in our leadership and moral standing. None of it is Obama's fault.

Thoughts on the past administration. Change and hope didn't come any too soon. Those who witnessed the Obama coronation must have felt that a new day had dawned.

You've heard the old addage "Follow the Money." Money has taken over our government to such an extent that law protecting citizens against banks, insurance companies, drug companies and corporations in general are simply just disappering from the books. We're on our own to protect ourselves and to install a government that will undo what's been done over the last seven years. It's time now!

In an era of trillion-dollar warfare, Bush continues his consistency as a "compassionate" man by vetoing the bipartisan SCHIP bill, which would assure that we care for the basic medical needs of our nation's kids - for pennies versus what we spend to wage war.

From the beginning of time through today, the world is full of people who advocate the sanctioned murder of strangers in faraway lands. As naive and sophomoric as it may sound, when will we say "enough?"

Friends, Romans and Countrymen . . . Put down your fiddles and play my game! You know in your hearts that your LIBERALISM has destroyed the Earth--Now find out why! Of course, this isn't a birth defect or an inherent misunderstanding, so obviously the Liberal Media has ruined your life.

With sweeping Democratic wins in the November elections, what do we call it now as 116-and-counting became splattered souls from shattered families during May? The best way to remember Cindy is to take her place in the battle by writing your Senator, Congressman and newspaper.

There's nothing more sanctimonious than an moron who thinks he knows something that nobody else does when he doesn't. No shock in that. But for some reason, senate and house Democrats have been the enablers.

Maybe you know the connection of the late John Davison Rockerfeller to the House of Saud, Bin Laden Family, Enron, the Bush Family, Halliburton and CEO Dick Cheney, Exxon/Mobil, Aramco, Chevron and Condi Rice and the $1.47 BILLION given by the House of Saud prior to the 2000 elections to finally find a way to get oil from $20 to $100. Maybe you know and maybe you don't. Either way this story connects the dots. Give it a look!

Another lunatic snuffed out 33 lives and nothing will be done about it. The NRA recommends giving guns to college professors and teachers to defend against madmen like Cho Senung-Hui. I have a great idea: If we can't outlaw guns, let's outlaw bullets!

Democrats have to become less partisan and sensitive and more pragmatic. Now, not later. The GOP has taught us all the proven Rove way to victory in the 21st Century. Winners steal winning paradigms and it is about time the Democrats wake-up, realize what the stakes are, and begin playing the game the way it is played. At least until sanity regains control.

Nobody in their right mind believes the attacks on the World Trade Center had any connection with Iraq. Even the president has been forced to admit it on a regular basis. So why did we invade Iraq?
