Alex McDonald is an Internet marketer and business consultant from Houston, Texas. His interest in Israel-Palestine started in the early 2000s when the wall was being built and when he started hearing things in the news that were not consistent with the story of Israel he had learned previously. He took a trip to the West Bank and Israel in May 2017 with an interfaith peace group. As a Quaker, the testimonies of Peace, Integrity and Equality have drawn him even more into the Palestinian issue and the need to open up discussions on the topic in our communities. As an American, he is very concerned about the active role his country has in oppressing the Palestinian people and supporting the violation of human rights.
