Born in Iraq, (29 Dec. 1941). living, recently, in Lebanon. Educated in the UK, from GCE stage to PhD level. Obtained his degrees: Bsc. Hon. Econ, Msc. Econometrics, PhD Economics; all at the University of Wales; Cardiff and Aberyswyth.
Worked in Iraq for 25 years, ocupying various posts in the fields of Statistics, Finance , Planning, and National Accounts. Worked as Technical adviser for the UN, and eventually as a Regional Adviser on National Accounts and Economic Statistis, at the UN- Escwa. Recentlty, retired from his UN post.
Wrote numerous papers and researches on ecnomics, statistics, national accounts. Also, he is a writer of many Arabic Articles with wide circulation.
