I have been a high school teacher since 1987 currently on medical leave because of harrassment and bullying by Principals and the School Board. The common practice of school boards in Ontario is to make the lives of senior teachers nearing retirement as miserable as possible to force theme into retirement. The rationale; for the salary of a senior teacher at the top of the pay scale 2 new teachers can be hired. When I retire at the end of June I will throw myself into the activist role more than I am now. I graduated twice from the University of Toronto June 1987 with my diploma in Technical Education and Ontario Teaching Certificate then again in 1992 with my Bachelor of Education Degree, and the University of Windsor June 1992; Bachelor of Arts Degree. Anyone having complaints against the Peel District School Board or any other Ontario school board please contact me through this site. This harassment and bullying is why we have unions... well at least unions whom will fight for you especially when you have paid the union fees for as long as I and many others have.
