Health care reform has been stopped in its tracks. It is a failure of imperfect men and women and an example of our dysfunctional system. With the Supreme Court decision allowing unlimited corporate funding of candidates, our system will be corrupted absolutely. A Constitutional amendment eliminating corporate funding of elections is needed. Our current path is a road to perdition.

Today in Massachusetts, there is a special election taking place to elect a new senator to take Ted Kennedy's old seat. A political "earthquake" may be taking place. If it does, the Democrats and Obama will have no one to blame but themselves. They may go down in flames. They will deserve their plight. The health care "reform" debate did that whose process revealed the political system for what it is; rotten and dysfunctional.
