Skip Mendler is a writer, performing artist, and activist who lives in northeastern Pennsylvania. He has been performing semiprofessionally as a mime, clown, and storyteller since graduating from Harvard College in 1978. His column "The Peace and Justice Files" appears twice a month in The River Reporter of Narrowsburg NY (www.riverreporter.com) and other outlets. He has an awful lot of stuff in the works, and some of which can be found scattered over the Web. Skip has been involved with the Green movement since 1985, and founded the Wayne County (PA) Green Party Committee, and co-founded Waynepeace (waynepeace.org). He is a Quaker, holds a third-degree black belt in aikido, and is about to launch his own think tank.
