Nikki Patin has been writing for close to 22 years. She has taught dozens of workshops at various high schools, colleges and universities on performance poetry, body image, sexual assault prevention and LGBT issues. In 2004, Nikki was featured on the fourth season of HBO's Def Poetry Jam and in 2006, took the gold medal in the Gay Games International LGBT poetry slam.
