William S. Bike is Senior Vice President of ANB Communications, a communications consulting and political consulting firm based in Chicago. Bike has worked in journalism, public relations, and politics since 1979 and is the former Communications Chair of Democratic Leadership for the 21st Century Chicago, a Democratic activist group.
Bike has won the highest award in Chicago journalism, the Peter Lisagor Award, four times, as well as numerous other journalism awards. He also is the author of the books Streets of the Near West Side (ACTA Publications, 1996, and 1stBooks Library, 2001) and Winning Political Campaigns (Denali Press, 1998 and 2001, and Smashwords E-Books, 2012) a how-to book about political campaigning; and the editor of Essays on Earl Renfroe--A Man of Firsts (UIC College of Dentistry Press, 2001).
A political pundit, Bike has made numerous radio, television, and print appearances concerning politics and government in numerous venues including CNN, Fox News, and the Chicago-Sun Times.
