"When shall it be said in any country of the world, my poor are happy; neither ignorance nor distress is to be found among them; my jails are empty of prisoners, my streets of beggars; the aged are not in want, the taxes are not oppressive...when these things can be said, then may that country boast of its constitution and government."~ Thomas Paine" -- Tom Paine

In another life back in the 80s in my 20, had worked as IBEW Union Electrician in a good part of this land. And the Union Brothers taught me well about how things should work for the regular Folks.
My Number 9 dream is to fulfill Isaiah 23:17-18 and 24:21-24 where the kings of the earth are thrown in jail (Retiring to their mansions on hills, protected from the pitchforks.) and the profits of this Beautiful Planet are used for food and fine clothing for those who need it. Then we can have that big party of Isaiah 25, where we Celebrate Thanks Giving Diners of being passed over the insanity of our times.. That will be when the veil will be lifted from all nations eyes, and they understand what they have never heard before.-That last part about understanding has to be what is meant, at the end of Isaiah 52.
People don't like to touch this subject with a 10 foot pole, but these are the latter days and they are all going to happen in the flesh this time too, not as "the church" has people believing in superman flying out of the sky, or some great world war so they can get the myth of their rapture. It's a royal pain in the ass to find out was the prophet Michael of Daniel 12:1, one of the olive branches, of which John Lennon was the other. Guess I better stay out of the big apple.

This was some of the greatest news we have read in a while. There are 2 Public Banking movements in NY City. The Article explains the differences: my take being one completely divests from Wall Street help low income cash checks, investing green and in worker coops. The other a combo with some Wall Street investment. Public Banks to me just look like common sense way to invest in ourselves. Can be done at city and state levels, like North Dakota has had since 1919. I find much potential in Belgium's Bank at Post, a 50-50 Public-Private Belgium-styled set up.

[[worker]]In
the struggle against economic inequality, historian and political
economist Gar Alperovitz tends to take the long view. That may be at
least partly because Alperovitz has been at that struggle for quite a
long time.
Back in the 1960s, for instance, Alperovitz worked with Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. and his aides to explore the potential of an alternate
economic order built upon community-owned enterprise.Too Much: So how do we go about developing that idea politically?
Alperovitz: I think that starts with a
counter-institutional strategy. If they have institutions and we don’t,
and labor is no longer there in the strength we need, either we build an
institutional substructure or we lose.
Monday, August 31, 2015 American, not Russian, aggression is the real problemSHARE
"Russia didn’t want a new Cold War. The myth of a 'revanchist Russia'
is convenient spin. The real issue is American interventionism.
"Ordinary Russians generally
like and admire American culture. They consume American TV and movies.
Teenagers in Siberia follow the street fashion of New York. Even in
isolated Yakutia you will find people who can rap along to Kanye West or
Jay Z. Many older people can manage a few bars of Elvis or Sinatra."The
reverse is not true in the States. Few Americans could quote a bit of
Pushkin. In fact, most US citizens have probably not even heard of him.
Or Pasternak. Or Tolstoy. Regrettably, if you ask an average American
for an opinion on Russia, the current likely answer is something that
depicts the nation as their enemy."

Karma is coming for the elite in a big way. As the Powers That Be head toward a devastating defeat in their war plans for Syria, signs are emerging that their rule over humanity is rapidly diminishing.
Monday, February 27, 2012 New State Bank Bills Address Credit and Housing CrisesSHARE
We may not be able to beat the banks, but we don't have to play their game. We can take our marbles and go home. The Move Your Money campaign has already prompted more than 600,000 consumers to move their funds out of Wall Street banks into local banks, and there are much larger pools that could be pulled out in the form of state revenues. States generally deposit their revenues and invest their capital with large Wall Street banks, which use those hefty sums to speculate, invest abroad, and buy up the local banks that service our communities and local economies. The states receive a modest interest, and Wall Street lends the money back at much higher interest.
"As the housing crisis lingers on with little sign of relief from the Feds, innovative state and local solutions like these are gaining adherents in other states."
Thursday, February 23, 2012 Cooperatives Over CorporationsSHARE
We're being told by today's High Priests of Conventional Wisdom that everyone and everything in our economic cosmos necessarily revolves around one dazzling star: the corporation.
But wait. The choices for our country's rising forces of economic and political democracy are not limited to corporate or government control. There's another, much better way of organizing America's economic strength: The Cooperative Way.
You might be surprised to learn that such national brand names as ACE Hardware, Best Western Hotels, Organic Valley, REI and True Value Hardware are organized as co-ops, rather than as corporations. The strength of the movement, however, is in the limitless number of local cooperatives flowering all across the country. From Union Cab of Madison.
Co-op businesses do everything that a corporation can do, but with a democratic structure, an equitable sharing of income.

Spain's Mondragon Cooperatives have 120 different companies, 42,000 worker-owners, 43 schools and one college; do more than $4.8 bn of business in manufacturing, services, retail and wholesale distribution; administer more than $5 bn in financial assets; and have a business plan animated by the Roman Catholic Church's social doctrine. Democracy in the workplace and capital at the service of Labor have succeeded since 1956.
