Wow! Has it been that long since last posting at OEN - more than two years? Apparently so!
I've been busy elsewhere (e.g., Disqus: http://disqus.com/C4H4AsH/ ), but certainly not as prolific as I was previously at OEN.
Well, I think I'll start visiting anew and read the latest and greatest proffered by the progressive left. The next, four years (it's January 2013 as of this posting) should prove... interesting to say the least. Admittedly, I was amazed and shocked at President Obama's re-election given the abject failure of his economic policies over the past four years. Seemingly, a majority of Americans endorse the notion of a government-only subsidence. Who knew? Maybe Fidel knew, but Raul... Raul is finding such a notion odious.
But I digress. I look forward to re-engaging the Left on issues like: global warming, healthcare, "The War on Women", and the 9/11 Truth Movement - assuming it's still viable... is it???
I suspect an economic downturn on continued stagnation for America, which should please progressives immensely.

An analysis of satellite data challenges the intuitive idea that decreasing solar activity cools Earth, and vice versa. In fact, solar forcing of Earth's surface climate seems to work the opposite way around -- at least during the current Sun cycle. This may result in climate change researchers revising their assertions on the anthropoegnic source of global warming.

What would you expect if PETA and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream came together for a common cause?
Extra straw in the stalls? Improved heaters in the barns? Organic feed for all? Nope. PETA wants human breast milk in B&J's ice cream rather than cow's milk. Why? Well, to emancipate the oppressed dairy cow, of course!
Tuesday, May 20, 2008 "It was like found money."SHARE
"It was like found money," so said the attorney negotiating a carbon offset credits deal between a business entity and Calfornia-based forestry administrators. Meanwhile, who's going to guarentee that the money is actually used in the manner specified? Certainly not the attornies because they've made their money and are now looking for the next "carbon dupe".

So you think switching to an electric vehicle (i.e., plug-in or plug-in hybrid) is beneficial to the environment, right? Well, think again. Much like the plastic bag was promoted in the 1970s as a replacement to the paper bag only to find out that paper is the better medium here, I tell you, switching to an electric vehicle will have an increased and adverse impact upon the environment.
Monday, October 22, 2007 Global Warming - Challenging the Conventional ViewsSHARE
Humanity vs. Nature: John Stossel of ABC's "20/20" news program will challenge the conventinal views that Americans have about the global warming debate. The recent Nobel Peace Prize winner, Al Gore, was contacted by Mr. Stossel with regard to the piece and its subject. former Vice President Gore responded by stating that, "The debate is over." But is it?
