Forrest has been a freelance writer since 1990. He writes about topics he is passionate about, namely climate change, economic inequality, animal rights, vegan options, vertical farming, and the need for media reform. When he's not writing activist pieces he writes about local history and sports. He still resides in Los Angeles with his wife, stepson and dog.
