Being a victim of toxic mold, my life became a nightmare. There are so many people out there that just don't understand how this debilitating illness affects your entire life. You become a prisoner of these toxins. A prisoner in your own home.
With deteriorating health, I can not go out and do the norm. With my being so ill from these toxins, I don't have the strength to live a happy and normal life. And with the strength that I have, I am on a journey to try and help, through my words, all that are ill from these deadly toxins.
Other than losing my quality of life, I have lost faith in so many health professionals that will not acknowledge the truth regarding illnesses caused from toxic molds, mycotoxins, fungi and/or pests. Experience having your very breath taken away, and constantly having to take medications, including oxygen, to help you breathe. I never had to fight to breathe before I got sick from toxic indoor molds that are in my HVAC system.
Living in a complex that consists of two buildings and approximately 300 people that are exposed to toxic molds on a daily basis gives me the will to succeed in efforts for the management to acknowledge and recognize the extent and seriousness of this issue. And in my journey of research regarding these toxins, I found this wonderful group called "Sickbuildings", one of Yahoo's health groups. I have met mold victims from other states and received tremendous support from so many of them. We all ask how the political arena, medical professionals and many in the public can not know how many Americans are losing their health to mold-infested buildings.
How many more must suffer or die from these illnesses? The silence must be broken. We all must be a voice together for all mold victims and be acknowledged. Toxic mold is that dangerous.
Please join in on this very important effort to get the truth out about toxic illnesses. Please have your friends read my blogs, and take a minute or two in helping us all over the country by having others recognize how this is a national health crisis.
Please feel free to go into one of my blog sites to check out the slides of me after being exposed to mold: i.e. oxygen and central air/heating system ducts with mold, and pictures of me before I became ill.
