A series of articles here on OpEd News,

Voting , explored a family of voting methods, any of which, if
adopted, would in time break us of our longstanding habit of choosing
between only two major political parties. The poll question
is: Should we Change our Voting System to Promote More Viable
Parties?
No. The two-party system works well and we shouldn't change a thing. 3% from 1 votes
Yes. We should have made this kind of change years ago. 65% from 22 votes
No. The voting system is fine but voters need to vote for third parties. 0% from 0 votes
Changing the voting system would be good, but it's not going to happen. 32% from 11 votes
