President
Barack Obama scored himself a second term in the White House, nabbing nearly
all of the key battleground states, as predicted by me 2 years ago on Nov 26th,
2010,. I also predicted during Republican Primaries in March this year that
Mitt Romney will be the Republican candidate, but cannot win the 2012
Presidential Election as he is in Sun main period and Mercury sub period. These
planets although they are in his 10th house but they are in bad
nakshatras connected with the 8th, 12th, and Badhaka
houses in his chart, could not give him victory in the 2012 Presidential Elections.
But rather gave him loss in the elections, frustration, and financial loss as
well. Many astrologers, both Western and Vedic, were saying that Sun and
Mercury are very strong planets in 10th house in Romney's chart,
some even predicted victory for Mitt Romney in the 2012 Presidential Elections.
It is unbelievable how some astrologers waited until November 6th,
to make predictions hours before the election results came out, while others
made election predictions in the final three months before the election date, when
you do not even need astrology to know who is going to win the Presidential
Elections. Predictions were made more or less based on the polling data, and
the gut feeling, rather than any correct astrology analysis. Most astrologers,
Psychics were of the opinion that this will be a close election, Mercury going
retrograde on the day of the election, complete mess. The election results may
be in jeopardy, and delayed, some even predicted victory for Mitt Romney. But look
what happened, President Obama won by a big margin and it was an easy victory
for him as I predicted 2 years ago with detailed astrology analysis, when I did
not even know who his opponent is going to be in 2012 Presidential Election.
As the excitement of victory starts to fade, questions arise over what type of challenges President Obama will be dealing with, in the weeks ahead. The first test will come quickly. Before he is sworn in to office for his second term, Obama has to deal with the expiration of the Bush-era tax cuts and the looming fiscal cliff. Shortly thereafter, he will be asking Congress to increase the debt ceiling once more. The House of Representatives remains in Republican control. And while Sen. Harry Reid will still be the majority leader, he won't have anywhere close to a filibuster-proof majority. So Obama will have to build coalitions to get legislation passed. This is where John Boehner, the current Speaker of the United States House of Representatives comes into picture. In order to make accurate predictions about the fiscal cliff I need John Boehner's birth time from his birth certificate, which I don't know at this time. I feel that the planetary energy is better in first week of Feb. 2013 to reach any kind of agreement on fiscal cliff when planets Venus. Mercury, Sun will be transiting Capricorn aspected by Jupiter from Taurus. The first three weeks of Jan 2013 is not a good time for President Obama to reach any kind of agreement with Republicans as planets Mercury, Venus, Sun will be transiting Sagittarius directly in the fire power of Saturn as Saturn from Libra aspects these planets in Sagittarius.
Before July 2012 President Obama's approval ratings were down because Rahu and Ketu were transiting Scorpio and Taurus signs, afflicting the 7th house lord Moon's natal position in Taurus sign in President Obama's astrology chart. Moon, the 7th house lord represents the people of the United States who voted for him. When Rahu /Ketu were transiting the moon sign Taurus, the support from people was lukewarm. But as Rahu and Ketu moved away from the natal Moon, and Jupiter entered moon sign Taurus in May 2012, gradually the approval ratings went up as benefic planet Jupiter was transiting the natal Moon, the 7th house lord in the President Obama's astrology chart.
Saturn the current Mahadasha lord in President Obama's astrology chart, rules the 1st house (self), 2nd house (money, financial growth), and is closely aspected by 6th house lord Mercury , should help him control the spending, increase revenue, and balance the budget of the United States. In President Obama's first term he was in 12th house lord Jupiter (expenditures, money going out) period when the national debt of US rose to 16 Trillion dollars. President GW Bush was in his 12th house lord Mercury's period most of his time in his second term. Then President Barack Obama was in his 12th house lord Jupiter's period in his first term. Finally we have a President ( President Barack Obama) who is not in 12th house lord's mahadasha, but is in 1st and 2nd house lord Saturn's period in his second term, should help him take some necessary steps to control the spending, increase the revenue, and balance the budget of the United States. But it will still not be easy as 2nd house lord Saturn in President Obama's chart is in 12th house in conjunction with the 12th house lord Jupiter.
Saturn the Mahadasha and the ascendant lord in President Obama's chart goes retrograde in Libra at 17 degrees 34 minutes on Feb 18th, 2013. Saturn stays retrograde until July 7th, 2013. Then it goes direct at 10 degrees 51 minutes in Libra. When a planet is retrograde it sometimes keeps you in a limbo state, and loses its power to deliver good results. President Obama is in Saturn Mahadasha and United States is in Mars Mahadasha during President Obama's second term. So whenever Saturn and Mars will aspect each other and will be in conjunction with each other or afflicted by Rahu or Ketu, it will not be a very good time for President Obama and the United States. President Obama will be dealing with some challenging situations during such transits. Saturn and Mars will aspect each other from April 12th, 2013 to May 22nd, 2013 as Mars will transit Aries sign and Saturn will be in Libra sign. Saturn and Mars will again aspect each other from August 22nd, 2013 to Oct 5th, 2013. Mars will be in its debilitated sign Cancer, and Saturn will be in its exalted sign Libra. During this time there will be Saturn and Rahu conjunction that will take place in Libra sign in the month of Sept, 2013 on Sept 21st, 2013 which is not good for President Obama, but the saving grace during this time is that they both are aspected by transit Jupiter from Gemini. Saturn and Mars will be in conjunction with each other in Libra sign; the exact conjunction will take place in end of August 2014.
The best period in President Obama's second term will be from May 30th, 2013 to November 1st, 2014, before Saturn enters Scorpio sign. Jupiter will transit through the Gemini sign from May 30th, 2013 to June 18th, 2014. During this time Jupiter will aspect transit Saturn and transit Rahu in Libra. This will be the best period in President Obama's 2nd term when the Mahadasha lord and the ascendant lord Saturn's transit position in the astrology chart will be aspected by transit Jupiter from Gemini. President Obama's popularity will be very high during this time, and Obama will solve many domestic and international problems. This will be the golden period in President Obama's second term. The US astrology chart also indicates favorable time during this time as Jupiter in Gemini will be transiting the 7th house in the US chart. Jupiter will also transit the natal position of four planets Venus, Jupiter, Sun and also Mars the current Mahadasha lord. The US economy will be doing much better.
Saturn in Scorpio will be transiting the Badhaka planet Mar's sign, will be difficult. Saturn from Scorpio will aspect the 7th house lord Moon's natal position in 2015 / 2016. This will be a challenging time in the second term, winning public support will be difficult during this time, and the opposition / enemies will be strong. Saturn will aspect the 7th house lord natal moon three times between November 2014 and December 2015, will be a sensitive time. The time until July 2015 still may be fine as transit Jupiter from Cancer sign will aspect the natal Saturn in Capricorn and transit Saturn in Scorpio also. But Jupiter leaves Cancer sign and enters Leo sign in July 2015. The Saturn / Mercury period also starts around this time in July 2015. In Saturn / Mercury period (July 2015 to April 2018) the President Obama's health may suffer as the sub period lord Mercury rules the 6th house of health issues, and aspects the ascendant lord Saturn in the natal chart. Also main period lord and the ascendant lord Saturn will be transiting Jyestha nakshatra ruled by 6th house lord Mercury in Scorpio sign in 2016 and 2017 is not good for maintaining good health during this time.
Finally let us hope President Barack Obama will take the country forward in his second term as promised.
