Diary: More Great MP3 Broadcasts (#4 in series)

Truthdig is a name that most OpEdNews readers will find familiar. We have all read articles by Robert Scheer and others that have informed and helped us understand the events of the day and often these have been first posted on Truthdig .

Recently, Truthdig has added a podcast where you can download interviews and editorials. The November 30 edition of this podcast consists of an interview with Wendell Potter who you probably recall is the former health insurance executive now turned informer on that industry. It is well worth a listen even if, like me, you have heard many interviews of Mr. Potter before. What I found new was a discussion of the presidential politics behind the health-care bill.

Since I brought up Robert Scheer for his connection with Truthdig , let me also mention another very good podcast where Robert Scheer appears regularly. Left, Right and Center, as its name suggests is not actually a progressive show; instead it seeks to compare and contrast opinions from a variety of positions. In addition to Robert Scheer, Arianna Huffington, Tony Blankly and Matt Miller appear on the show along with an occasional extra guest. It is always a good program worth listening to.
