LJ: I've been keeping my ears open wherever I go to get a feel for who is supporting who and so far, the majority of my coworkers are for Bernie. Most of my friends in the military are for Bernie but I've noticed there are a lot of vet Trump fans as well. Moms love Bernie, a lot of mom Facebook pages and breastfeeding pages talk about him. My mom and grandma are pro-Trump but my dad is for Bernie. I've yet to hear anyone in my circles say they are for Clinton. Mostly I've noticed the less educated they are or have no access to social media (just Fox News or other forms of corporate media) they are more likely to support Trump. I went to Clark Montessori high school and one of the main values Montessori teaches is about "being a community" so i know damn near all of us are voting for Bernie because he embodies everything Montessori is about.
JB: So, you attended the rally and you succeeded in snagging a front row seat. What did Bernie say to justify eight hours on your feet, many of them in the pouring rain?
LJ: Some of the main points he touched on that resonated with me were about holding police accountable who break the law, demilitarizing local police, extending the amount of paid time off families get, getting money out of politics, and increasing the minimum wage. All of which I was familiar with before the rally, but being there and hearing it for myself made it that much more powerful. I feel as though we are living through a crucial time in history that will be talked about for years. I wanted to be able to say I saw that man speak, I supported him, I fought for him to be our president. And that's exactly what I got to do, I lived a great moment in history and now i'll get to tell my daughter about it when she gets older.
JB: I get it. Some crucial primaries take place tomorrow, including Ohio's. Any predictions or last-minute words you'd like to share with voters who might still be deciding?
LJ: I'm really hoping for another upset here in Ohio for Bernie. I voted early for him already, I took it upon myself to print out voter registration forms to get almost all of my coworkers registered and mailed them off. I share anything and everything on Facebook hoping something will hit home for someone and they will vote for Bernie. I do believe every vote counts and if my fellow young people get out and vote we can make history.

'I stood in line with no food or water for 8 hours just so I could get front row and make this picture possible. I will never forget this night in Columbus!'
