Enter the Greek crisis, during the prior Greek administration, Goldman Sachs had been known as the go to guys in Athens. It was Goldman who helped the Greek government to hide the true amount of their debt. Prior to the Greek crisis many where asking, "Could the Euro someday replace the dollar as the new reserve currency?" In response to the economic downturn the German government initiated a fiscal stimulus three times the size per capita of the stimulus offered to us by Barack Obama. The British Chancellor of the Exchequer imposed a fifty percent tax on all banking executive bonuses.

While Obama compared American bankers bonuses to athletes, laughing it off with a boys will be boys attitude, while forgetting, these guys didn't hit home runs, they hit into triple plays. They sold defective products, they abused their customers trust, and they violated the law and brought suffering to untold millions of Americans. They are America's Doctor Mengela, they live above the law and walk between the raindrops because if rule number one is protect the empire then rule number two is money is law.

Defense Secretary and lifelong CIA employee Robert Gates in his farewell address chastised and criticized NATO allies for failing to match US defense budget levels. He went so far as to question whether the alliance was still even valid. It was a League of Nations moment, where the empire detaches itself from European affairs. The empire lobs a few cruise missiles at Libya and says, "ta, ta, fellows this one's all yours." Republicans in Congress challenge the War Powers act. Gee guys, what ever happened to "you're either with us or you're with the terrorists"?

A new frontier has begun, the empire's go to guys and the credit rating agencies voice fears of a Greek default, and ask; what about Spain and Ireland? Suddenly the Euro is falling and the dollar is gaining in value. Who gains from this? Germany and the IMF struggle to come up with more money after empire based credit rating agencies down graded Greek debt to the lowest level possible. The empire is eating its allies to stay alive just as it is abandoning its people in its attempt to stay alive. Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer is backing a tax holiday proposal for corporate America. Despite a massive government debt and wide spread public suffering Charles Schumer thinks corporate America needs a trillion dollar tax break.

This is why it is so important for the empire to keep you separated, to keep you disjointed, to keep you isolated and to keep you as one.

The age of the American empire is collapsing before our eyes, just as Rome once stationed its legions on its borders its collapse came from its center. The rule of law was replaced by the rule of money, corruption and graft. Increased security supplanted justice until the empire collapsed from the dead weight of its own corruption. Hired mercenaries replaced Roman troops as social programs dried up.

The message is clear, money is power, but there is another message which is not so clear, that there is strength in unity. The average American has more in common with a Los Angeles gang member than they do with any government official. You have more in common with a peasant worker in Juarez Mexico than you do with a Wells Fargo executive and even more in common with an Afghan fighter hiding in the mountains of North Waziristan. They know well that the empire means them no good, the empire wants only to exploit them and to use them and when finished, to dispense with them.

On Thursday morning June 16th in front of the Cheshire County Courthouse in New Hampshire, a father who felt so alone, doused himself with gasoline and set himself on fire.

You are but one and I am but one, only in unity is there any hope for change. Without change there is no future and without a future there is no hope.

I who am I? Born at the pinnacle of American prosperity to parents raised during the last great depression. I was the youngest child of the youngest children born almost between the generations and that in fact clouds and obscures who it is that (more...)
