I'm saying that they need to see that we are human beings, sweating from one paycheck to the next, buying our groceries and having a heart attack at the bill. Working and hoping that when we go to bed, we wake up the next day just to try all over again.
Then we speak to them about the issues and educate them. And yes, if necessary we take the fight to them. Not with some empty "call to action" at the inauguration and most definitely not by vandalilzing churches, especially those that have been friendly to us. But when they lie about us, we call them out for what they are. When they roll up their sleeves and get dirty, we do the same. Staying on the high ground doesn't do anything but make the fall hurt more acutely.
