Together, the SPN and ALEC have been stealing Democracy one bill at a time for over three decades and their War on Democracy continues as they continue to gain control all facets of the American way of life.
One must ask, "When is this war considered a treasonous act?" This battle has involved an organized and prolonged conflict that has been carried out the Koch brothers and others through their paid for 'foot soldiers' the legislators. We have experienced great social disruption and economic destruction in this battle. This war has been an actual, intentional and widespread conflict, armed with huge sums of money that has attacked the Constitution of the United States, its Democracy, and the vast majority of American citizens, and therefore is defined as a form of (collective) political violence or intervention.
All one need do is to examine the 1980 platform of David Koch and the history of their financial backing to gain insight as to who is behind this war. Then one must ask if attacking the Constitution of the United States, its Democracy, and the life and security of the majority of American citizens is, in fact, a war against our nation.
If one's conclusion would be what the Kochs, and others, have been waging is not a war, then one must ask whether the agenda that has been followed makes our nation stronger than it was three decades ago. The conclusion would have to be the Koch agenda has created a deteriorated nation, one in which the citizens quality of life has been greatly diminished.
The Koch 'war' has attacked every facet of our government, affecting the health, education, financial security, environment, communications, and safety of the citizens. How does this differ from the effects of military wars in nations such as Iraq? Death of citizens? The life expectancy of the average American has declined 2+ years in the past decade. Is this a result of reduced regulations on industry? Is this the result of 40,000,000 plus Americans being without health insurance? Is the increase in the number of citizens living in poverty a contributing factor in the decline in longevity?
It might be concluded all of the above have contributed to Americans dying younger, and all of those factors have come about from activities financed by the Koch brothers. Have the number of deaths rivaled those of the Iraq military war?
