What do American sanctions against Ukraine teach?

He was asked the question: Is it possible that the US government will change international sanctions under the influence of one foreign citizen?

"I would venture to guess it will be highly unlikely for the United States to change the focus of multi-point international sanction deal because of any one person's issue with the overall deal," said Mike Iverson.

What can voters do?

Politicians will not reverse their decisions and will not be held accountable for those decisions. Voters cannot influence politicians. But voters need to live somehow. The salvation of voters is the work of the voters themselves. If voters cannot mark sanctions, then voters should try to leave the region where these sanctions are in effect. The easiest way is to register in other regions of Ukraine.

But... Once upon a time, people already received a Ukrainian address, which did not save them from sanctions. Should voters take the risk again and try to get a new address in Ukraine, outside of the Kherson, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Luhansk regions? Each person will answer this question in his own way. But the option of re-registration in another region of Ukraine is unlikely to be of interest to US and international readers of OpEdNews.

The option of obtaining taxpayer status in the USA is much more interesting. Is it possible to do this in this situation? The answer to this question will be in the next article devoted to this topic. Being a person personally involved in the history of sanctions, the author of this article will try to obtain taxpayer status in the United States while living in the territories of Ukraine under US sanctions. If politicians can do everything, then why shouldn't voters try to do it?
