Let's hope Schott Solar and New Mexico produce great solar panels and great solar research far into the future. As the German spokesman for Schott, Dr. Ugo Ungeheuer and New Mexico Governor Richardson pointed out:
Solar is secure, economical, and environmentally friendly, and that Schott/New Mexico is ambitious, but not unrealistic, and at the cutting edge of research and manufacturing. Climate change is very real all over the world, and helps nations wean themselves from foreign sources, which will see $200 per barrel in the near future, which is entirely unsustainable. Solar sources will never run out, and we can help the environment and prevent the greenhouse effect.
