Bush is an ideologue. He is in love with his own vision of the world, and blind to the alternatives. This makes for the worst kind of Commander in Chief.
This administration has trashed the constitution, holding American citizens without trial or contact with a lawyer. It has justified the invasion of another nation with cherry picked and faulty intelligence. It has condoned the use of torture, trashed the Geneva Conventions, and angered the entire world. It spies on American citizens. All in the name of a war that is defined so broadly (a "War on Terror") as to be meaningless - except as justification for more abuse of the constitution.
We are truly involved in a "Clash of Civilizations," with the forces of modernity aligned against a medieval, tribal mindset. The problem is, our president is one of the medievalists. We have met the enemy, and he is our elected leader. Let's get rid of him.
